For more than two decades, Lyanne has contributed to Hawaiʻi's dance community as an educator, performer, mentor, judge, organizer, and cultural ambassador. Through workshops, performances, cultural exchange, and community initiatives, she has helped build connections between Hawaiʻi and dancers, artists, and educators from across the United States and around the world.
She has also played a leading role in introducing house dance to wider public audiences in Hawaiʻi through classes, workshops, educational programs, dance studios, and community initiatives, creating opportunities for the form to be studied, practiced, and shared across a variety of settings.
